LADY BRONC CROSS-COUNTRY - Sheridan High School Senior distance runner Dana Morin has had quite a first semester into her Senior year. She won the State Cross-Country Championship in October, and ran at the “Nike” Cross-Country National Championships a week ago. Wednesday she made her decision at which college she will continue her running career.

We sat down with Dana yesterday, and she told us Duke University in Durham, North Carolina is her choice. She says the decision was tough, and she is looking forward to a new challenge this fall. Morin was also looking at Stanford University, Colorado and the University of Washington. So what made Duke her top choice?

Morin will compete for the Lady Broncs during the indoor track season and again this spring during the outdoor season. She talks about the transition to running at the next level.

Sheridan High School cross-country and track coach Art Baures says there is no question on the type of school that Duke is, and Dana is heading into a pretty good cross country program as well.
