2011 "FREEDOMFEST" - The Sheridan Rec District along with Sheridan Media, Kilpatrick Creations and Pepsi will host "Freedom-Fest" on the 4th of July.
It's an event for the whole family and will take place behind the old Woodland park school from 10 am to 2 pm on the 4th.

Food and refreshments will be provided, they will be having lots of kids and family games and it's all free.
And it's fun for every member of the family and the want this to be an every year event for great family time on Independence day.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are now 21-14 on the season and will get back into action tonight when they host a double header with Cody the first game will start at 5:00.
Tonight's game is also senior citizens night all seniors 60 and older get complimentary popcorn and soda from the Trooper booster club and as always admission to Trooper games is free.
JETS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Jets play on the road this afternoon in Gillette and will be back action at home with double headers on Saturday and Sunday against Rapid City.
Saturday's games begin at 5:00 pm and Sunday they'll throw out the first pitch at noon.
LOCAL TENNIS TOURNAMENT - The Sheridan high school tennis teams will be hosting a singles tennis tournament Saturday and Sunday at the Sheridan high school tennis courts.
The tournament is open to all tennis players in Sheridan county they will have two divisions of play (A and B) for both men and women. The "A" division is for experienced players and the "B' division is for intermediate and beginners.
The entry fee is 10 dollars per player and a can of new balls registration deadline is today please contact Sheridan high school tennis coach Bob Faurot.
All proceeds will go support the Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis program.
