THE SPRING SPORTS SEASON RESUMES NEXT WEEK

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan soccer teams are off until next Friday when the Broncs and Lady Broncs get back into conference play with matches in Gillette.

The Lady Broncs are 9-0 and ranked number one in the 4-A it's been a two year journey for the team to get to this point, Head coach Tom Racette.

Racette the players have put in the time to make the turn around possible.

Johnson County's High School Athletes Off For Holiday

High school sports teams from Buffalo and Kaycee have this Easter Weekend off, but will resume their schedules next week.

Buffalo's soccer teams are coming off matches with Sheridan last Tuesday, where the girls fell 3-0 to the Lady Broncs and the boys finished n a 2-2 tie with the Broncs.

The Bison are still ranked #1 in 3A with a 5-0-1 record, while the girls have moved to #2 in 3A despite the loss to Sheridan and a 2-4 overall record.

SHERIDAN COLLEGE ATHLETICS - We highlight Sheridan college athletics today with several events coming up over the next eight weeks.

Starting with the annual Sheridan college booster club golf tournament at the Powder Horn on May 18th men's basketball coach and AD Steve Smiley.

At the end of May youth sports camps begin with the first of two Lady Generals volleyball camps.

In June they host the boys and girls basketball camps that are open to all kids in Sheridan county.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan soccer teams hosted matches with Buffalo Tuesday night.

The Lady Broncs ran their record to 9-0 with a 3-0 shut out win they led 1-0 at halftime on a goal from Senior Rickie Ryan, Ryan would add two more in the second half for the Hat Trick.

Head coach Tom Racette says the windy conditions made it tough on both teams but in the end they got the victory and that's all that matters.

BRONC WRESTLERS COMPETE AT A NATIONAL EVENT / SHS SOCCER TONIGHT

BRONC WRESTLING - Three Sheridan Bronc wrestlers competed in the National high school coaches association tournament which wrapped up over this past weekend in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The Bronc's Cody Delk gained All-America status with a 6th place finish in the 195 sophomore weight class. Delk went 3-3 for the tournament.

Senior Lucas Giesey went 1-2 at 170 pounds and Senior Alex Marty went 0-2 at 285.

Lady Bison/Lander Soccer Stats, Tuesday Preview

Last Saturday, the Bison and Lady Bison soccer teams traveled to Lander and both teams came away with victories.

The boys won their game 2-1 and now sit at 5-0 for the season.

Buffalo's girls also won their game by a score of 3-1, and their record is 2-3 so far this season.

In the 30th minute, Buffalo's Caley Stafford scored with an assist coming from Lisa Zezas.
Just three minutes later, Kaitlyn Armstrong scored on another assist from Stafford for a 2-1 Lady Bison lead.

LADY BRONC SOCCER REMAINS UNBEATEN

LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan Lady Bronc soccer team remains unbeaten after taking two more conference games.

They beat Cheyenne East 2-1 and Cheyenne Central 4-2 to go to 8-0 on the season and 4-0 in conference play.

BRONC SOCCER - The Broncs split their matches in Cheyenne they beat East Friday 2-1 and dropped a 1-0 decision in Overtime to Cheyenne Central Saturday.

Tuesday both teams host Non-conference matches at Homer Scott stadium with Buffalo, the girls varsity will play at 4:00 and the boys at 6:00.
