Lady Bison/Lander Soccer Stats, Tuesday Preview

Last Saturday, the Bison and Lady Bison soccer teams traveled to Lander and both teams came away with victories.

The boys won their game 2-1 and now sit at 5-0 for the season.

Buffalo's girls also won their game by a score of 3-1, and their record is 2-3 so far this season.

In the 30th minute, Buffalo's Caley Stafford scored with an assist coming from Lisa Zezas.
Just three minutes later, Kaitlyn Armstrong scored on another assist from Stafford for a 2-1 Lady Bison lead.

LADY BRONC SOCCER REMAINS UNBEATEN

LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan Lady Bronc soccer team remains unbeaten after taking two more conference games.

They beat Cheyenne East 2-1 and Cheyenne Central 4-2 to go to 8-0 on the season and 4-0 in conference play.

BRONC SOCCER - The Broncs split their matches in Cheyenne they beat East Friday 2-1 and dropped a 1-0 decision in Overtime to Cheyenne Central Saturday.

Tuesday both teams host Non-conference matches at Homer Scott stadium with Buffalo, the girls varsity will play at 4:00 and the boys at 6:00.

Johnson County Weekend High School Sports Results

The Buffalo High School Soccer teams had a good weekend in Lander, as they both knocked off the Tigers and Lady Tigers on their home field.

The boys, ranked #1 going into the weekend, downed unranked Lander 2-1.

Buffalo's goals came from Wyatt Witty who scored in the 55th minute and Mitchell Wilcox who scored in the 80th minute. Kalob Rodriguez was credited with the assists on both goals.

The Lady Bison, ranked #4, defeated the #2-ranked Lady Tigers 3-1.

The boys are now 5-0 on the season, the girls are 2-3.

Next up for the teams is Sheridan on the road Tuesday.

Johnson County Weekend HS Sports Preview

Buffalo and Kaycee High School sports teams have already begun their busy weekends, with both school's track teams participating in the Speedgoat Classic Track and Field meet Yesterday in Newcastle.

Buffalo, Kaycee, NSI and Midwest were among 17 schools attending.

No results from the meet have been released yet, but we will post them when available.

The Buffalo Bison soccer team, 4-0 overall and ranked #1, and the Lady Bison, 1-3 overall and ranked #5, are off today, but both will be in Lander on Saturday. Game times are at 12 and 2 for both the boys and girls.

SHS SOCCER VS CHEYENNE EAST AND CENTRAL

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams play matches with Cheyenne East this evening, tomorrow it's Cheyenne Central.

The Lady Broncs are 2-0 in conference play and 6-0 overall after wins at Cheyenne South and Laramie last week.

Head coach Tom Racette says the win at Laramie last Saturday meant a lot to the Lady Broncs as it had been several years since they've had a victory against the Plainsmen.

SHERIDAN SWIMMER QUALIFIES FOR THE NW SECTIONAL.

Zoe has qualified to swim in 5 events: 50 and 100 breaststroke, 50, 100 and 200 freestyle at the Pacific Northwest Sectional Age Group Championships to be held in Federal Way, WA. March 30,
31 and April 1.

Bison, Buckaroo Track Teams at Speedgoat Classic Today

Both the Buffalo and Kaycee High School track teams will be in Newcastle today for the Speedgoat Classic Track and Field Meet.

Both teams are coming off a successful showing at the Jerry Campbell Invite last week in Buffalo.

The Speedgoat Classic gets underway this morning at 9am.

The Bison boys' and girls' soccer teams will be back on the field Saturday to take on the Tigers in Lander. Both teams will be away on Saturday. Games are scheduled at 12 and 2.
