BRONC VS NC FRIDAY NIGHT / HOMECOMING AT BIG HORN / TR ON THE ROAD

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs host Natrona county tomorrow night. We will have the game live for you on 14-10 KWYO starting at 6:30 with the First Federal pregame show kickoff is at 7:00.

A lot is on the line this week for both teams as they battle for playoff position and Julian says the Mustangs will be ready to roll tomorrow night.

The Broncs are coming off a dominating performance at Cheyenne Central and Julian says the Broncs have done a good job of preparing for the match up with NC.

BRONC FOOTBALL HONORING VETERANS FRIDAY NIGHT

Sheridan high school is going to do military/veteran appreciation tommrrow night at the Bronc / Natrona county at the game.

Veterans from the VA will be attending the game, and the Broncs would like to extend an invite to all active or veteran military personnel to come to the game.

They will be able to attend the game at no charge and we will honor them at half time. It will also be Sheridan high school's Pink night for breast cancer awareness.

BIG WEEK OF HOME FOOTBALL FOR THE BRONCS AND RAMS / EAGLES ON THE ROAD

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams host Moorcroft Friday at 1:00 live on KWYO and 87.7 FM Ron Richter will have the play by play.

The Rams are coming off two victories last week on the road at Glenrock Monday then at Wheatland Friday, Head coach Micheal McGuire.

WYOMING COWGIRLS SELECTED MWC PRESEASON NUMBER TWO / SHERIDAN'S KAYLA WOODWARD SELECTED PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Former Lady Bronc and Cowgirl Junior Kayla Woodward was selected at the preseason conference player of the year.

Voting came from the conference's coaches and selected women's basketball media.

It's the highest preseason selection for the Cowgirls since the 2007-08 season. Fresno state won the league tournament last spring and was installed as the preseason favorite.

The cowgirls open their exhibition season in Sheridan November 8th when they play Northern Montana in the Hoffman dome at Sheridan college.

2013 WYOMING SHRINE BOWL HOSPITAL DONATION

The Board of Directors and John Cundall, the Executive Director, of the Shrine Bowl of Wyoming are pleased to announce the donation of $20,000 to the Shrine
Hospital System.

The money was raised from the playing of the 40th annual
Wyoming Shrine Bowl All-Star Football Game last June.
The Shrine Hospital system includes 22 hospitals that provides the highest quality care to children with neuromusculoskeletal conditions, burn injuries and other
special healthcare needs within a compassionate, family-centered and collaborative care environment.

X-COUNTRY / SWIMMING POST SEASON / BIG WEEK ON THE GRIDIRON

CROSS COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams begin post season action this week they will run at their conference meet in Gillette Friday.

Both teams had last week off to begin preparation for the post season Head coach Art Bauers says they've had a good season getting ready for the next two races.

And he says the process has gone well and they've had a lot of fun with younger teams this season.

Weekend HS Sports Wrap For Johnson County 10 14 13

Another busy high school sports weekend is in the books and Buffalo and Kaycee athletes had a tough one.

The Bison football team traveled to Lander to take on the Tigers and dropped their sixth straight game 21-0.
Buffalo is now 0-6 on the season and next up for them is a Friday game at home against Torrington.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles picked up their 2nd win of the season beating Wright 14-6. The Eagles travel this week to play at Newcastle Friday night.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys Beat New Mexico 38-31, they host Colorado state this week.
