Both the Broncs and Lady Broncs Win, While the Generals and Lady Generals Split

The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc Basketball teams squared off against the teams from Buffalo Friday night. The Broncs held off a late run by the Bison to win at home to win by two 45-43. Meanwhile, the Lady Broncs took to the road and retained their number one ranking by crushing the Lady Bison 64-38. Both the Broncs and Lady Broncs will host Riverton today at Sheridan High School. The Lady Bronc game will tip off at 12:30 pm, while the Broncs will go at 2:30. You can catch both games live on either AM 1410 KWYO or 95.9 FM.

SHERIDAN AND BUFFALO MEET ON THE BASKETBALL COURT TONIGHT

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - Tonight the Sheridan and Buffalo basketball teams get together for their only meeting of the season the girls will play in Buffalo and the boys will play in Sheridan.

The Lady Broncs are 2-0 heading into tonight's game in Buffalo the Lady Bison are 3-0 Sheridan is ranked #1 in 4-A and the Lady Bison are #1 in 3-A.

Lady Bronc Head coach Derek Bissitt says the Lady Broncs played well on opening weekend. And they expect a good game with the Lady Bison tonight.

Bison basketball face tough teams, wrestlers head to SD

The Buffalo Lady Bison started their season last week with three wins over some good competition.
According to Coach Michelle Dahlberg, the three wins and no losses in the East/West Tournament in Cody were not surprising.

THE BRONCS HOLD THEIR POST SEASON FOOTBALL BANQUET

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc coaches, players, parents and supporters met last night for the 2010 season ending football banquet.

The Broncs are 20-4 over the last two season's winning the state title in 2009 and last month finishing as the runner up Head coach Don Julian says this season didn't end with a victory but it was still a great year for the program.

BRONC WRESTLING, HOOPS AND SWIMMING MAKE FOR A FULL WEEKEND ON THE LOCAL SPORTS SCENE

BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers finished 6th at the Powell tournament to start their season last week Head coach Terry Burgess says the Broncs are working hard getting ready for more tournament action this week.

The JV's will head to a tournament in Forsyth, Montana the varsity will head to an invitational in Rapid City.

And Burgess says his message to the team in practice this week.

SHERIDAN HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams will play games with Buffalo and Riverton this week the Broncs are 1-1 splitting two last week while the Lady Broncs went 2-0 after they won at Billings Skyview Saturday Head coach Derek Bissitt was pleased with the opening weekend and the way the Lady Broncs played defense.
