Jets take two in season finale / State "B" baseball starts Thursday / Local golf , table tennis and volleyball

JETS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Jets closed out their regular season last night sweeping a double header from Lovell and end the season on a six game winning streak, they took the first game 9-7 and the second game 8-5,

Sheridan hosts the 2014 class "B" American legion state tournament this week the tournament starts with four games Thursday.

Game times Thursday are 1:00, 3:30. 6:00 and 8:30 the Sheridan "B" all-stars will play Gillette at 1:00, Laramie plays Cody at 3:30, Cheyenne and Jackson play at 6:00 and the Jets play Casper at 8:30.

Rod and Decker Trahan medal at Big Sky state games

Father and son Rod and Decker Trahan of Sheridan competed in the Big Sky State Games in Table Tennis this past weekend in Billings both medaled in various divisions they were eligible to compete in.

14 year old Decker won a Silver medal in the Age 16 and Under category.

Rod won Gold medals in the Open “A” Division, the Age 40 and Older division, his partner, Art Fust (Billings)won Silver medals in the Open Doubles event.

Sheridan wins U13 Babe Ruth title / Jets host state "B' this week / Troopers end regular season on the road

BABE RUTH STATE CHAMPS - The Sheridan 13 year old Babe Ruth baseball all-stars won their state tournament at Thorne-Rider stadium yesterday, now they get ready to head to the Northwest regional tournament in Helena. Montana.

Sheridan beat Laramie 11-3 in the title game Sunday the regional starts next week.

JETS BASEBALL - Sheridan will host the 2014 class "B" American legion state tournament this week the tournament starts with four games Thursday the state champ will be crowned Sunday.

Troopers drop two / Local golf / Football camp / 3 on 3 volleyball tournament / Youth soccer registration

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers dropped both ends of Wednesday night's double header with Casper, the Oilers won 16-7 and 9-2

They will close out the regular season with a road trip to Cheyene next week then onto the Double "AA" state tournament in Gillette on July 30th.

JETS BASEBALL - Sheridan will host the 2014 class "B" American Legion state tournament next week at Thorne-Rider stadium the Sheridan Jets are the defending champs.
