Buffalo shocks Broncs in OT win at Cody

The Buffalo Bison travelled to Cody last night to take on the Broncs in a Class 3A playoff game.
Buffalo and Cody played to a 21-21 tie at the end of regulation, sending the game to overtime.
Cody won the coin toss and chose to play defense first.
The Bison took the ball on the Broncs' 10-yard line but were unable to score a touchdown and settled for a field goal to take a 24-21 lead.
Cody then had their turn on offense, and the Bison kept the Broncs out of the end zone on three straight plays.

BRONC PLAYOFF FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs host Cheyenne East tonight in the 4-A semi-finals a victory would give the Broncs a chance to defend their 2009 state title.

Head coach Don Julian says at this time of year all the chips are on the table.

Julian says the players did a good job this week of shaking off last week's performance against Kelly Walsh and did a good job a preparing to face a very good T-Bird team.

THE BRONCS AND T-BRIDS TEE IT UP TOMORROW NIGHT

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs host Cheyenne East tomorrow night in one 4-A semi final the Broncs beat East way back in week two but the T-Birds are coming off a big week last week and Head coach Don Julian says the T-Birds have a really good team.

It's a big night for the Broncs as they look to get a chance to defend their state title from last year Julian says their is nothing like high school football playoff atmosphere.

Big Horn gearing up for a big playoff showdown with Greybull

Devin Rougeau Returns to the Rams lineup this week after missing the last two games

RAMS PLAYOFF FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams will play their semi final game Saturday afternoon hosting Greybull the teams have a good history of great games against one another.

Last fall Greybull knocked Big Horn out of the playoffs winning 42-20 in Greybull the 2010 season started for the Rams in Greybull again but they turned the tables on the Buffalos and won 37-14.

FOOTBALL SEMI-FINAL TICKET PRICES

The Semi-final football game with Cheyenne East will be Friday night at 6 pm at Homer Scott Field. Prices once again are set by the state and will be $5 for adults and $3 for students. Only WHSAA passes will work at the gate, SHS passes do not work for admittance. SHS will once again pre-sell tickets this week at the high school office.

Ticket Prices for the Big Horn vs Greybull Semi-final football game will cost $5 for adults and $3 for students.
The game will be played Saturday afternoon at 1:00 at Big Horn high school.

ALL CONFERENCE / ALL STATE VOLLEYBALL SELECTIONS AND WEEK TWO OF THE FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS

Lady Bronc Kayla Woodward makes 4-A All-State

ALL-STATE / ALL-CONFERENCE VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Bronc volleyball team had one all state team selection and two all conference selections.

Making the East all-conference team were Kayla Woodward and Stephanie Sessions, Woodward was also named to the 4-A all-state team.

The Big Horn Lady Rams had three all-conference selections they were Katie Van Hoosier, Mali Wright and Kori Puckett, Wright and Van Hoosier were also named to the 2-A all-state team.

The Tongue River Lady Eagles had two players make the all-northeast conference team they were Kim Caywood and Katie Ferguson.
