WYOMING ALL-STATE FOOTBALL SELECTIONS - Wyoming All-state football awards have been announced as expected several players from our Sheridan county teams received those honors.

6-MAN - The NSI Wolves had two players make the 6-man football all-state team they are Jami Hale and Dezmen Patron.

1-A - The Tongue River Eagles were the 1-A runner ups five Eagles made the all-state team, Cody Buller, Jaxn Kobza, Dillon Lyons, Brennan Kutterer and Jamie Dickerson.

SC Generals at NJC tomorrow / 41st Sheridan Lions club Hoops tournament at the Hoffman dome Friday and Saturday

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals play at Northeastern Colorado tomorrow night before coming home this weekend to host the 41st annual Sheridan Lions club tournament.

The Generals are 7-1 and Head coach Matt Hammer says his young squad will get a great challenge at NJC tomorrow.

The Lady Generals are 5-3 overall and will play the next two weeks at home Head coach Frank McCarthy says his young squad is getting better as they head into the next four games at home.

Pokes hoops vs MSU Sunday in Billings / Broncos at Chicago Sunday

The Sheridan college Lady Generals play at home this afternoon at 3:00.

The Generals will play their next game Tuesday at NJC in Sterling, Colorado.

Both teams host the 41st annual Sheridan Lions club tournament next weekend.

The Wyoming Cowboys baketball team plays Montana state in Billings Sunday at 2:00 live on KWYO and 87.7 Fm.

The Denver Broncos play at Chicago Sunday kickoff is at 11:00 live on KWYO.

GENERALS / LADY GENERALS HOOPS - The Sheridan college Generals play their next game at Northeastern Colorado Tuesday before coming home as the host for the 41st annual Sheridan Lions club tournament next week.

The Generals are 7-1 so far and Head coach Matt Hammer says the Generals are showing good potential but still have a lot to do before they get there.

Next up is a tough road game at Northeastern Colorado.

TONGUE RIVER EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River eagles came up short in the 1-A title game against Upton-Sundance they ended their season as the runner up and with an 8-3 overall record Head coach John Scott says the players hung in their after falling behind early.

And he says the support the Eagles got in Laramie meant a lot to the players.

And finally today he says the 2015 Eagles football season will always be remembered as long as there is a Tongue River high school.
