Bohl Signs New Seven Year Deal to Stay at UW

Friday the University of Wyoming announced that Cowboy football Head coach Craig Bohl Signed a new seven year contract.

The Pokes take on San Diego state tonight in the MWC Championship game at War Memorial Stadium.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams will open 2016 next week Thursday at a three day tournament in Riverton.

They will play Evanston, Rock Springs and Jackson all six games will be broadcast on KWYO game times next week on Thursday and Friday will be at 1:30 and 3:00 and Saturday they will go at 10:30 and noon.

Jeff Martini takes over as the Broncs Head coach this year and he says the coaches have thrown a lot at the players to pick up this week.

GENERALS / LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals are back at home this weekend with tournament games tomorrow and Saturday games times will be at 1:00, 3:00, 5:00 and 7:00 both days.

The Lady Generals will play Northwestern Colorado and Dawson CC the Generals will play Dawson and Presentation college from Aberdeen, South Dakota.

The Lady Generals are 9-2 heading into the weekend and Head coach Frank McCarthy says they expect to see two pretty good opponents.

WYOMING COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys were soundly beaten Saturday night at New Mexico 56-35 it was a game the Pokes were never in.

They knew going into the game they had already qualified to play in the Mountain West championship game with Boise state's loss to Air Force and they played like a team with nothing really to play for after the loss Cowboy Safety Andrew Wingard.
