LADY BRONCS BEAT GILLETTE / TR , BH AND NSI ALL ADVANCE AT BASKETBALL REGIONALS

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Lady Broncs beat Gillette last night in a big conference win on the road to end the regular season. The game went down to the final minute with the Lady Broncs holding off the Camels 58-55.

Now they'll wait out the rest of the conference teams and will find out tomorrow night what seed they will have at the regional tournament which starts next Thursday at Cheyenne East high school.

Weekend Johnson County Sports Preview

Both Kaycee basketball teams were in action Thursday at the 1A Regional Basketball Tournament in Gillette.
The boys' team took on Lingle-Ft. Laramie, and the Lady Bucs played Midwest.
We'll have results and where the teams are in the brackets as results are released.
Buffalo's basketball teams will be finishing up their regular seasons this week, beginning with Glenrock tonight and Douglas on Saturday.
Buffalo will host Glenrock tonight, with games scheduled at 4 and 7 for the boys, 4 and 5:30 for the girls.
The teams will travel to Douglas for games on Saturday.

SC HOOPS / SHS VS GILLETTE / STATE SWIMMING AND WRESTLING PLUS REGIONAL HOOPS

SHERIDAN COLLEGE HOOPS - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals split games with Miles City at home last night.

The Lady Generals got to a slow start but they went on a 21-7 run to start the second half and pulled away for the victory, Lady Generals Sophomore Fallon Lewis.

With the win they still have a chance to be the host team for their post season tournament but they must beat Casper at home Saturday and win at Gillette Tuesday, Lewis says their focus right now is on the number 4 ranked T-Birds.

1A Basketball Regionals Begin Today for Kaycee Teams

The 1A Regional Basketball Tournament will get underway today in Gillette and both Kaycee teams will be in action. Kaycee's boys' team, the Buckaroos, will take their #3-seed in the NE against the #2 seed from the SE, Lingle-Ft. Laramie, with tip-off scheduled at 8:30 tonight.
The Kaycee Lady Bucs, #1 in the NE, will take on #4 from the SE Midwest today at 4pm.
We'll have results and where the teams are in the brackets tomorrow.
Buffalo's basketball teams will be finishing up their regular seasons this week, taking on Glenrock and Douglas.

Bison Wrestlers Preparing For State Meet This Weekend

Buffalo's wrestlers are putting in final preparations for the State Meet at the Casper Events Center this weekend.
Brackets for the tournament have been released and the Bison's first round matchups are set.
At 220 lbs., Jonathan Rico will take on Worland's Casey Hernandez.
Cody Sanburn, at 160, will wrestle Lane Reed of Douglas.
Taylor Bell, at 126, will go against Noah Rohrbacher of Lander.
At 120, Jonathan Land will wrestle Cody Ellison of Lyman.

STATE WRESTLING PREVIEW / INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD

BRONC WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers open up the state championships in Casper Friday morning.

They are coming off a third place finish at the East Regional with five champions and 11 place winners Head coach Scott Cleland.

And now he says they get back the basics this week as they prepare for the start of the state championships.

And where do the Broncs fit in the 4-A field at the state meet.

Winter Regular Season Ends For Buffalo, Kaycee to Regionals

Winter sports in Johnson County are winding down with Kaycee teams headed to Regionals this week and Buffalo's teams ending their regular seasons or heading to State.
Kaycee's Buckaroos, #3-seed in the NE will take on #2-seed from the SE Lingle-Ft. Laramie Thursday night at 8:30 in Gillette.
The Lady Bucs, #1-seed in the NE, will play #4-seed in the SE Midwest Thursday at 4pm in Gillette.
The Bison wrestlers qualified seven of eight and will send those seven to the State Meet this Friday and Saturday at the Events Center in Casper.
