Sheridan Hockey Student-Athletes Selected to Team Wyoming

SHERIDAN YOUTH HOCKEY - Nine local student-athletes have been selected to represent the State of Wyoming in hockey this season. These players were selected from try-outs conducted in August and September in Casper and Rock Springs.

In the Pee Wee division (11 and 12 years of age) three players were named to the team – Barak Broad, son of Kelly and Stormy Broad; and Sandis Cook, son of Chris and Cori Cook. Griff Milner, son of Brent and Lisa Milner, was named as an alternate.

WYO. VISION 52 SUMMIT REALTY GROUP 30

Wyo. Vision won the 2010 adult flag football championship with a victory over Summit Realty Group by the score of 52-20 last night at Dan Madia Field. Wyo. Vision went into the playoffs the # 2 seed and finished the season with a record of 9-2. Congratulations to Wyo. Vision and to all the teams that participated in the league this year.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs close out the regular season against Natrona county tonight. NC has the top seed for the 4-A playoffs that begin a week from today seeds two through eight are all on the line tonight.

The Broncs can do no worse than number four and could be at number two if they win tonight Julian says as expected it comes down to the final games of the regular season.

The Mustangs are 7-0 and have blasted most of their opponents they are having a season that most thought they would have.

THE BRONCS HOST NATRONA COUNTY ON SENIOR NIGHT TOMORROW

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs close out the regular season against Natrona county tomorrow night. It's also senior night with the player / parent ceremony going off at 6:00 Broncs Head coach Don Julian.

Along with their parents some other important individuals will be recognized tomorrow night as well.

We will have the game live for you on AM14-10 KWYO, 95.9 FM and we will be joining with ACT Communications and Sheridan college to bring you the live video and audio webcast of the game.

This winner will take on Wyo. Vision on Thursday night for the Adult Flag Football Super Bowl 2010 Championship game at 7:30 p.m. @ Dan Madia Field.

BRONC AND LADY BRONC X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams will run at the state cross country championships Saturday in Douglas.

Yesterday the runners and coaches met before their practice go over race strategy Head coach Art Bauers.

In mid September both teams got a chance to race on the state course in Douglas and Bauers says that's a good advantage to have over teams that did not run there this fall.
