BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Lady Broncs opened the day with a 62-41 win over Star Valley.
They jumped out to a 23-6 lead after the first quarter and never looked back they put it away early in the 2nd quarter and led by 22 at halftime.
They spread the scoring around as the top eight all scored led by Kayla Woodward with 16 points, Brianna Smith had 12 with four threes and Steph Sessions had 11.
Today the Lady Broncs will play their fourth game against Cheyenne East in one 4-A semi final. East got by Evanston to advance yesterday.
The T-birds have won two out of three from the Lady Broncs the last was last Friday in the regional tournament semi finals.
The 4-A semi finals today are a rematch of last week in Sheridan, Gillette will play Laramie in the other game.

The Broncs opened with Rock Springs and suffered a brutal loss at the hands of the Tigers 45-42.
They just could not score from the field or the free throw line the defense kept them in the game and gave them a chance to send the game into overtime but Riley Ryan missed a free throw to tie the game with :05 seconds to play.
Ryan almost brought the Broncs back by himself in the 4th quarter scoring 12 of his game high 21 points but the Broncs were their own worst enemy,.
For the game the Broncs shot 28 percent from the field going 13-46 the free throw line is where they lost the game going 13 of 30 or just over 43 percent.
For the second straight season the Broncs falter in the first round against Rock Springs and are now relegated to play in the consolation bracket.
They play Star Valley today in an elimination game this afternoon at 1:30 we will have it live on 14-10 KWYO.
BISON / LADY BISON BASKETBALL - The Buffalo Bison and Lady Bison both advanced to the 3-A semi finals yesterday the Lady Bison hammered Powell 52-26 they play Mountain View in the semi finals tonight.
The Bison took care of Cody in their first round match-up 69-38. The Bison square off with Torrington tonight in the semi finals.
WYOMING COWGIRLS - After losing in the first round of the Mountain west conference tournament Wednesday it's believed the Wyoming Cowgirls and their 22-8 record will get a bid into the WNIT tournament. Selections for the event are expected by early next week.
SPRING SPORTS - Spring break is next week at Sheridan high school practices will still be taking place for track and field and soccer.
The regular season begins a week from today. The Lady Bronc soccer team will play their opening game at Riverton next Friday.
The broncs will compete in a jamboree next Saturday over in the Big Horn Basin.
The spring outdoor track season in scheduled to begin a week from tomorrow when Natrona county hosts their early bird meet.
