COWGIRLS BASKETBALL / WNIT - The Wyoming Cowgirls got 26 points from Hillary Carlson and 20 from Aubrey Vandiver in their 79-44 victory last night over Portland state.
The Cowgirls now stand at 23-8 overall and advance to the 2nd round of the tournament. They will play Monday night at home against Oklahoma state.
BRONC / LADY BRONC TRACK AND FIELD - The high school track season for the Broncs and Lady Broncs is scheduled to open Saturday at the Natrona county early bird invitational.
As usual practice began indoors last week but over the weekend and Monday and Tuesday the weather cleared allowing the athletes to take to the track and Homer Scott stadium Head track coach Art Bauers.
Nearly 70 athletes have showed up to participate and Bauers says it's nice to have that much interest.
And he says now they have to find out what event each individual will excel in.
Sheridan high school will host "The Dan Hansen" Sheridan invitational next month the event will take place Easter week and will be held that Thursday because of the
LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Lady Bronc soccer team will open the season tomorrow with a game at Riverton. They play three on the road before the home opener Thursday March 31st against Gillette.
BRONC SOCCER - The Broncs will be involved in a road jamboree with Worland and Riverton Saturday. The Broncs will play their first varsity home match next Friday against Cody.
SHERIDAN AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - Sheridan American legion baseball will hold their pre-season player / parent meeting on Wednesday March 23rd in the cafeteria at Sheridan high school.
The meeting will take place at 7 pm. All prospective Sheridan Troopers and Jets players and their parents are asked to attend.
SHERIDAN BABE RUTH BASEBALL - Sheridan Babe Ruth baseball is currently taking registration for their upcoming season.
They will be taking registration through April 3rd.
