COWGIRLS ROLL:PICK UP WIN #9

WYOMING COWGIRLS BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowgirls played at Utah state yesterday and picked up their 9th win of the season after blowing out the Aggies 80-50.

The Cowgirls are now 9-3 overall got 24 points from Hillary Carlson , Aubrey Vandiver chipped in with 18 points and a dozen rebounds and five assists.

The Cowgirls will play on the 30th in Rock Springs, it's an exhibition with Western Montana they open MWC play January 5th with a home game with Colorado state.

WYOMING COWBOYS BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys are off until Tuesday when they host a game with Kennesaw state from Georgia.

They close out 2010 with a road game at Houston-Baptist on New Year's eve then open MWC play at Colorado state on January 4th.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams get back into the gym Monday. The Lady Broncs hit the break on a roll they are 7-0 ranked number one and stat wise are in the top five in virtually every offensive and defensive category in class 4-A.

Head coach Derek Bissitt says they are right where they want to be.

The Broncs are 5-2 overall and Head coach Mike Ibach says a few days off will really get the Broncs refreshed heading into the new year.

HOLIDAY YOUTH HOOP CAMPS - Sheridan college Lady Generals coach Frank McCarthy will hold a one day girls basketball camp on New year's day from Noon to 4:00 in the Hoffman dome at the college.

Each camper gets their own Lady Generals basketball, the camp is open to all girls in the 1st through 8th grades they'll also take registration at the camp on the 1st.

Sheridan college men's basketball coach Steve Smiley and the Generals will be hosting a boys one day camp as well.

The boys camp will run January 2nd from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Hoffman dome and open to all boys in Kindergarten through 6th grade.

If you did not get Pre-registered they will take registration starting at 10:30 a half hour before the camp opens.

INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD - The indoor track and field season at Sheridan high school begins Monday January 3rd with the first practice of the new season.

The first indoor meet of 2011 will be at Black Hills state in Spearfish, South Dakota January 14th.
