The #1 ranked Sheridan Lady Bronc Basketball team continues to roll as they downed the Lady Plainsman easily by a final of 67-39. The Lady Broncs jumped out to an early lead and held a 10 point lead at the half. The Lady Broncs outscored Laramie 35-17 in the second half to put the game out of reach.

The Broncs win the first conference game of the season aginst Laramie Plainsmen 54-39.

The Lady Broncs also win their first conference game 67-39.

NSI wins against AC 49-39.

Bison Sports Preview

It will be another busy weekend for the Buffalo Bison teams this weekend with the basketball teams at home and away, the swim team hosting their Buffalo Invite and the wrestlers hosting their meet as well.
The girls basketball team posted two wins last weekend, beating Rawlins 47-34 and Cheyenne South 59-19.
This Friday the girls will host Glenrock at BHS. Coach Michelle Dahlberg said the Lady Herders are improving.

BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers won their dual at Kelly Walsh high school last night 45-30.

The Broncs took nine matches the winners were Hayden Richins, Derek Berrettini, Clay Carter, Jay Sandvig, Trevor Goss, Andrew Lobach, Alex Smiley, Kevin Bakkenhaug and Lucas Giesey.

The Broncs will be competing in the Buffalo duals today and tomorrow.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Lady Broncs begin conference play with Laramie at home tonight. They're coming off a big win last Saturday at Casper Natrona.

The Arvada-Clearmont Junior High Boys basketball team kicked off their regular season this past weekend. The Cowboys have 13 players out for JHBB (every boy in 5th – 8th grade) 7 of which are 5th and 6th graders.

Playing 5th graders is unique to Clearmont because the school is so small they must pull 5th and 6th graders to fill JV and even Varsity spots in order to have enough boys to have a team. These boys played very tough against schools 4 and 5 times their size.

Sheridan Storm U-14 Girls Soccer team wins indoor soccer title

Sheridan Storm U-14 soccer team

The Sheridan Storm U14 Girls soccer team won their division of the Cowboy Turf Wars indoor soccer tournament held in Laramie January 8-10th.

The Sheridan Storm team defeated the Laramie Pink Teen Trouble team with a score of 10-6 to win the championship.

Coach David Edeen says "Our toughest opponent was the RECCOS Rage from Scottsbluff, NE, but the girls played with heart and dedication to win this; our girls just wanted it more.

Bronc Senior Issac Carrel Signs to play college baseball today

TROOPER BASEBALL SIGNING - Sheridan high school senior Issac Carrell will sign a letter of intent today to play baseball for McCook college in Nebraska.

Carrell is a starter on the Bronc basketball team and will step out of basketball mode for a few minutes today and turn to baseball to sign his letter of intent to play this fall at McCook.

Carrell says the prospect of playing college ball has been a goal of his for a long time.
