Cowboys upset #5 SDSU / Cowgirls v SDSU TONIGHT / Indoor track and Wrestling preview

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming cowboys beat 5th ranked San Diego state last night 68-62. It was the Cowboys first win over a top five ranked team since 1998.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowgirls play at SDSU tonight we will have it live on KWYO and 87.7 FM pregame starts at 6:30.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams play at Northwest college in Powell tonight.

The final chance to see the Generals and Lady Generals at home will be next week on Wednesday when they host games with Miles City, Montana.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams continue league play this week with games against Cheyenne south and Laramie.

RAMS / EAGLES BASKETBALL - The Big Horn and Tongue River basketball teams play at Big Horn high school Friday evening.

Saturday Big Horn will play at Greybull while the Eagles and Lady Eagles play at Wright.

INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD - The Sheridan high school indoor track qualifiers head to the Simplot games tomorrow in Pocatello, Idaho.

Head coach Art Bauers says having the chance to compete in the Simplot games has become a great tradition for the Sheridan athletes.

And he says being able to compete in a national event is a tremendous opportunity for the participants.

The event begins tomorrow night with the Bronc and Lady Bronc milers competing.

BRONC WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers wrap up their regular season tomorrow night with a dual in Gillette.

The broncs are coming off a second place finish at the Riverton invitational last weekend and great result, Head coach Tyson Shatto.

The Broncs are unbeaten in conference duals this season and Shatto says it would mean a lot to the broncs to win in Gillette tomorrow.

As the regular season closes out tomorrow Tyson says the wrestlers have come a long way since the beginning of the season back in November.

The Broncs will host the east regional tournament next weekend.

SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers will be in Gillette Friday and Saturday for their conference meet then a week off before the start of the state championships back in Gillette starting February 28th.
