SC Generals Rodeo results

The Sheridan College Generals recently traveled to Cheyenne, WY to the Laramie County Community College Campus for the final college rodeo of the fall season.

The Men's Team continued to expand their lead of 2,340 regional team points by winning the Men's Team Title at the LCCC rodeo with a 515 points.

The Men's team was lead by the dynamic freshman Bareback Riding duo of Chance Ames and Hunter Carlson. Ames won the long round, short round, and the average in the Bareback Riding to clinch the title for the rodeo with an average of 150 points.

Lady Broncs Prepare for State Swimming / Regular Season HS Football and Volleyball Closes out This Weekend

LADY BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers finished 2nd at their conference meet they will have this week off the 4-A state championships start next week on Thursday in Gillette.

Head coach Brent Moore says overall it was quite a performance by the Lady Broncs.

And he says they followed their game plan and it paid off and the results showed then exactly what they are capable of.

Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs beat Natrona county 37-13 to run their record to 7-1 they led the game wire to wire and Head coach Don Julian said it was an all around great performance.

With the victory they wrap up at least the number two seed for the playoffs which means they will have the home field advantage for both the quarter final and semi final games.

They finish up the regular season schedule at Cheyenne South Friday night and Julian says it will be another tough challenge.

The #2 Ranked 4A Sheridan Bronc Football team took care of Natrona with a 37-13 win. Next week they close out the regular season against Cheyenne South.

Tongue River's #2 1A Eagles football team took care of Pine Bluffs 28-14. Next week they will look to take 1st place in the 1A ranks by beating #1 ranked Upton/Sundance on the road, finishing out their regular season.

SHS OPEN HOUSE - Sheridan high school will host an open house tonight to show the public the finished locker room and training facility project. The open house will run from 6:30 to 7:3o.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Sheridan Lady Bronc swimmers and divers have their conference meet this week it will be tomorrow and Friday in Gillette, the state championships will also be held in Gillette October 27th and 28th.
