SHERIDAN USA SWIMMING REGISTRATION

Sheridan's USA Swimming club team, the Sheridan Swim Team Sharks, will hold two registration/information meetings prior to the start of its winter season on Thursday, September 19 and Monday, September 30.

Both meetings will be held at 6:00 at the Early Building Pool at Sheridan Junior High School.

LADY BRONC SWIMMERS WIN / SC VOLLEYBALL ADDS ANOTHER VICTORY

LADY BRONC SWIMMING - The Lady Bronc swimmers beat Buffalo in a dual meet last night. The Lady Broncs won 11 of the 12 events winning the dual 128-56. Next up for the Lady Broncs is a dual at Gillette Friday night.

SC VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan college volleyball team beat the Rocky Mountain college JV's at the Hoffman dome last night.

TENNIS / SWIMMING / VOLLEYBALL TONIGHT

SWIMMING - The Lady Bronc swimmers will be at home for the first time this season this evening as they host a dual with Buffalo events get underway at 4:00.

TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams play at Kelly Walsh today and host matches with Powell Friday.

SC VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan college volleyball team hosts a match tonight with Rocky Mountain college the match will begin at 7:00.

X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country runners, run this week at an invitational in Custer, South Dakota.

SC RODEO RESULTS

The women’s team finished finished 4th led by Sophomore Teddi Schwagler. Teddi had a great run in the goat tying in the long round placing 2nd with a time of 9.0, in the short round mud she had a time of 9.1 placing 2nd in the round and 1st in the average, earning 160 team points.

Freshman Shai Schaefer from Torrington, WY had a good run in the long round and made it back to the short round with a time of 10.3, in the mud she was a little slower with a time of 10.6 placing her 7th overall, I was happy with her performance considering she is coming off of a knee injury.

WEEKEND LOCAL SPORTS WRAP UP

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs won at Evanston 35-14 Friday night. The Broncs had their struggles in the game with more turnovers and some costly penalties but they got on track too the lead away from Evantson and put it away late with two scores in the last five minutes, Head coach Don Julian.

The Broncs are still 3-0 and that's the main thing, but the schedule starts getting tougher this week. The Broncs host Cheyenne East Friday night kick off is early at 6:00.

Weekend HS Sports Wrap For Jo Co 09 16 13

Another busy high school sports weekend is in the books, and most teams from Johnson County had a tough time in competition.
The Buffalo Bison football team dropped their home opener to Powell 45-6 Friday night and now sit at 0-2 on the season. Next up is the Wolves at Green River this Friday night.

Bulldogs High Powered Offense Too Much for Eagles

The Tongue River Eagles were no match for the high powered offense of the Wheatland Bulldogs Friday afternoon in Dayton. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there for the game and has this report.
