Tongue River Junior high football information

The Tongue River Middle School boys will start football practice Monday, Aug. 22, 8:00-10:00 am.

There will be a parent meeting August 30th immediately following practice (6:00 pm)

Big Horn Junior high Football and Volleyball Info

Big Horn Middle School football for 7th and 8th graders will begin on Monday the 22nd at 6 pm, and that Big Horn Middle School volleyball, grades 6-8, will begin on Monday the 22nd at 9 am.

All student athletes need to bring a copy of their physical exams to the first practice.

Bison Golf Coach: Experience, Youth Good Combination

The Buffalo High School Golf Team will open their season this week at the Wheatland Invite, and Coach Chad Rose said the team has been working hard this summer to prepare for the upcoming season, and he is excited to see how his athletes perform.

He tells us more about the team.

Spencer and Wright have a combined seven seasons of Varsity Golf between spring and fall seasons and have a lot of tournament experience, Rose siad. Spade and Nick Lulias have had a great summer and Rose expects good seasons from both athletes.

SHERIDAN HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS OPENS 2011 IN A WEEK

BRONC / LADY BRONC TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams have been on the court for three days head coach Bob Faurot says it's been a good week so far.

Most of the players had plenty of opportunities to play during the summer and that has some in pretty good form already.

The Lady Bronc lost their number one doubles team to graduation but the rest of the team remains intact and Faurot says the Lady Broncs are looking ahead to a good season.

Sheridan youth competes in the National Hersey track meet

Sheridan's Brock Bomar ran in Hershey, PA on August 6. He did really well finishing 7th in the 200, running it in 31.47. His best time was 31.06 which would have moved him up to 6th.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles opened there football camp in the Big Horn mountains Monday Head coach Chuck Walters says they had a great day.

There is some troubling news coming out of Eagles camp though as only 15 players showed up for work-outs this week and that is a major concern with the start of the season in three weeks.

Walters says he commends the players that have come out and they are trying make the best of the situation.

BIG HORN RAMS OPEN FOOTBALL CAMP

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn rams lost one game last year and finished as the state runner up in class 2-A last November this year it's a transition year for the rams as they said goodbye to a great class of seniors this spring and the rams will be going through a transition this fall with lots of new faces head coach Bert Dow.

And he says the young Rams will be going through a lot over the next couple of weeks and it's not rebuilding at all just catching up.
