Buffalo, Kaycee Athletes Open Winter Seasons Strong

The Buffalo and Kaycee boys' and girls' basketball teams were in action this weekend and played well for opening weekend.
Buffalo Boys were in Cody for the East/West Tournament and came away with a 2-1 record for their efforts.
The Bison opened with a tough 53-43 loss to Lander Friday, but bounced back on Saturday with wins over Jackson 45-32, and Cody 44-34.
The Lady Bison hosted the girls' East/West Tournament at BHS, and they also came away with a 2-1 record for the weekend.
Buffalo downed Pinedale 30-28 and beat Jackson 42-34 before dropping their game with Cody 41-28.
The Kaycee Buckaroos played at the Upton Tournament, finishing in fifth place.
Kaycee started with a loss to Moorcroft 51-31, then beat NSI 56-41 and Guernsey 43-34.
The Kaycee Lady Bucs were also in Upton but took second in the tournament.
The Lady Bucs beat Hulett 35-32 and Midwest 47-30 before losing the championship to Guernsey 43-28.
The Bison wrestling team was at the Billings Invitational Tournament this weekend, and we'll have results when available.
