Last Saturday the Broncs beat Laramie 1-0 to win the regional tournament title to give them a number one seed this week.

The Plainsmen had beaten the Broncs three straight dating back to last year's state title game Broncs Head coach Kevin Riser says it was big for the players to finally beat a very good Laramie team.

Heavy rain and wind is forecast for Thursday and Friday and Riser says spring sports athletes are used to playing in tough conditions and it's just a fact of life in the spring in the Cowboy state.

Riser says for the Broncs to make a run in the tournament they need to start fast and keep the pressure on their opponents.
