Broncs Win a Close Game Friday Night, While Big Horn Dominates on the Gridiron

The Sheridan Broncs needed every bit of the clock to pull out the win late in the 4th quarter against the Kelly Walsh Trojans Friday night at Homer Scott Stadium. The Broncs trailed late in the game before scoring late twice to win by a final of 10-3. The Broncs will now host Cheyenne East in the semi-finals next week.

The Big Horn Rams crushed their first round opponent at Big Horn High School Friday afternoon, as the Rams won their game against Big Piney 62-6. The Rams quest for a perfect season will continue with another home game next week against Greybull, who was the team who knocked the Rams out of the playoffs last season.

The Buffalo Bison advanced to the semi-finals by handling Lander easily 51-7. Buffalo and Johnson County Sports Director for Sheridan Media Aaron Palmer has a recap.

The Sheridan Lady Bronc Volleyball team lost to Rock Springs 3-1 at the State Tournament Friday. The Lady Broncs must now win a loser out game against Evanston to advance to the 3rd place game against either Laramie or Cheyenne East.
