FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs beat Cheyenne East in a thriller at Sheridan high school Friday night.
The Broncs held a 10-7 halftime lead and the game got wild in the 3rd quarter, East scored first to take a 14-10 lead, the Broncs answered and went up 17-14, East scored again going up 21-17 the Broncs answered that score again to go up 24-21.
The Broncs would scored with five minutes to play to extend their lead to 31-21 to wrap up a 7-2 regular season and a 3rd seed heading into next week's playoffs they host Casper Kelly Walsh high school Friday night.
The Big Horn Rams hammered Newcastle Friday 55-6 to finish their season 8-0 the Rams scored on their first play from scrimmage and the rout was on, they will host Kemmerer next Friday afternoon in their first round playoff game.
Both the Big Horn and Sheridan games will be broadcast live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.
The Tongue River Eagles football season came to an end Friday with a 39-0 loss at Wheatland.

STATE X-COUNTRY - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams will finish the season at the state championships in Douglas today.
REGIONAL VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Broncs were eliminated from the post season by Laramie Friday night at their regional tournament in Gillette.
They opened the tournament beating Laramie in five games then lost against Cheyenne Central in three and came back to play Laramie last night.
The Plainsmen turned the tables on the Lady Broncs winning the match in five games ending the Lady Broncs season.
The Tongue River Lady Eagles and the Big Horn Lady Rams met in the semi finals of their regional tournament in Cheyenne last night, Big Horn cam out on top in the five game match and will play Southeast today in the regional final.
The Lady Eagles fell into the losers bracket and will play Sundance for the right to move onto the state tournament.
