SHERIDAN BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs blew out Cheyenne East 46-12 Friday night to advance to the 4-A state title game. The Broncs piled up over 500 yards of total offense to get back into the state championship game for the 2nd straight year.

Head coach Don Julian says they got their running game rolling early and that was huge factor in the outcome.

The Broncs earned the right to defend their 2009 state championship Julian says the players and coaches teamed together to get back into the state title game.

The Broncs will play Natrona County in the 4-A state championship game, NC beat Gillette 30-10 Saturday the 4-A title game will be played at 4:00 in War Memorial stadium.

BIG HORN RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams took care of Greybull Saturday 37-7 the Rams led wire to wire in the victory.

After a scoreless first quarter the Rams got it rolling on a 69 yard pass for a touchdown from Colby Wollenmen to Cole Ponce and took a 16-0 halftime lead.

Greybull cut the lead to 16-7 but Big Horn would score the next 21 points to seal the win and earn the trip to the state championship game.

Head coach Bert Dow says the big TD pass in the 2nd quarter settled the Rams down and they were off to the races after that.

Now it's back to the state title game, Big Horn was the runner-up in 2008 before losing out last year in the quarter finals against Greybull.

Dow says it's great for the players to get a shot at the title and on top of that to play in War Memorial stadium.

The Rams play Thermopolis for the 2-A state title Saturday morning at 10:00. Big Horn beat Thermop during the regular season 42-7.

Typos

As Mr. Sisson pointed out I am guilty of typos as well. :)
It's great to see all of the teams doing so well. I wish I could be in Wyoming to cheer them on.

Seriously, we share Mr. Wallop's pride in the Rams and wish them, the SHS Broncs and the Buffalo Bison "Good Luck" in Laramie this weekend!

yes

Well said.....it's not often that THREE teams from the same general area get the chance to take home state championships. Good Luck. Maybe we can get another billboard along I-90 that says this is the football capitol of Wyoming along with the one that says we are the golf capitol of Wyoming !!
