BRONCS LOSE TO GILLETTE, LADIES TAKE CENTER STAGE TONIGHT

BRONC BASKETBALL - A battle of 4-A number three against number two took place last night at Sheridan high school as the Broncs hosted Gillette. The Camels broke open a tight game and won 54-41. The Broncs fall to 11-4 and 2-1 in conference play they are off until a road trip next week to Cheyenne.

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Lady Broncs play in Gillette tonight in a game pitting number one against number two.

The Lady Broncs have won the majority of their games big this season and that is likely to change tonight as they are expecting a great challenge in playing on Gillette's home court in front of a hostile crowd.

The Lady Broncs haven't won in Gillette in 18 years but they are on a 14-0 game winning streak and have played some great basketball Head coach Derek Bissitt says they're a year older and the team has many goals to accomplish this season.

The game will tip tonight at 7:30 and we will have it live for you on AM 14-10 KWYO.

RAMS / LADY RAMS BASKETBALL - The Big Horn basketball teams host games with riverside tonight games are scheduled for 4:30 and 6:00. tomorrow they travel to rocky mountain high school in byron.

EAGLES / LADY EAGLES BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles host games against Wright this evening at 4:00 and 5:30. tomorrow they host Greybull at 2:30 and 4:00.

A/C BASKETBALL - The Arvada/Clearmont Panthers and Lady Panthers have road games to Kaycee tonight and Upton tomorrow .

WOLVES BASKETBALL - The NSI Wolves lost both of their games this week. they lost at Midwest Tuesday night 50-19 and last night Kaycee visited NSI and blasted the Wolves 93-13.

GENERALS / LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals will head out on the road they play at Western Wyoming tonight in Rock Springs.

The Lady Generals currently lead the north sub region Head coach Frank McCarthy. The roster is dominated by freshmen but McCarthy says the players have grown up a lot in the last few months.

The newest Lady General enrolled in school at semester time and will be in uniform this next fall and McCarthy thinks they have found a really good addition to the program that will really help their perimeter scoring.

The Generals battled through a rare three game losing streak to win three in a row all north sub region games Head coach Steve Smiley talks about getting the team through that losing streak.

And the players have done a good job shaking off the streak and getting the season back on track.

Next week they play one game on Saturday they'll host more sub region games with Little Big Horn CC.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys will play their next game on the road at San Diego state tomorrow night. We will broadcast the game live for you on AM 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM broadcast time will be at 7:30 with the tip at 8:00.

BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers have a dual with Laramie in Gillette tonight. They will host a double conference dual Cheyenne East and Central tomorrow. Wrestling will get started at noon at Sheridan high school.

TRACK AND FIELD - The Sheridan high school track teams continue their schedule today at a meet at Black Hills state University in Spearfish, South Dakota.

SWIMMING AND DIVING - The Sheridan Bronc swimmers and divers have a double dual in Casper today against Kelly Walsh and Natrona county.
