BRONCS LOOK TO RETURN TO 4-A ELITE

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team has put in two weeks of practice and now they set their sights on Cheyenne Central.

Last week we heard from Sheridan Head football coach Don Julian, today Julian talks about the Bronc offense and getting the players ready for Friday's season opening game at Cheyenne Central.

The Broncs graduated the best runner in school history last year when Jordan Roberts set several rushing records at Sheridan high school.

They return several key positions from last year's state title run and Julian says it all starts up front the Broncs this fall.

The Broncs look to be pretty balanced in all facets of their game this year but Julian says they really won't know until they play Central .Friday night.

We'll have the game live for you on am 14-10 KWYO and Sports / talk 87.7 FM. The First Federal pregame show will start at 5:30 with kick off at 6:00.

BH FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams open their season next week on the road at Greybull.

TR FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles also open in next week on the road at Lyman.

GOLF - The Sheridan high school golfers start play at an invitational today in Gillette and then the JV's will host an invite next Thursday at Kendrick golf course.

SWIMMING - The Lady Bronc swimmers will be in Casper and Gillette Friday and Saturday.
TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams open play Thursday with matches in Jackson.

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team will be in Riverton Friday for a tournament.

X-COUNTRY - The Sheridan cross country runners open Friday at an invitational in Cody.

SC VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals volleyball team opens their season Thursday at a tournament at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls.

Their first home date will be on the 28th when they host a match with Dawson county community college from Glendive.
