BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams open their season hosting games with Green River Friday night. Both games will be broadcast live on 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM the Lady Broncs play at 5:45 and the Broncs at 7:30

Last year the Broncs went 19-8 and made it to the state tournament the Lady Broncs went 22-5 and lost in the state title game in overtime to Gillette.

Broncs Head coach Mike Ibach says it's nice this week for the players to be getting ready to face a regular season opponent as they have put it some good time in the gym for the last couple of weeks.

The Bronc varsity roster will be loaded with seniors this year for the first time in many seasons and Ibach says this is the seniors time to take a great leadership role for the broncs to have a successful season.

When the Broncs take the court Friday against Green River Ibach says their defensive play is what he'll be watching for.

BRONC WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers will open their season at an invitational tournament in Powell Friday and Saturday.

EAGLES/ RAMS BASKETBALL - The Tongue River and Big Horn basketball teams will open at tournaments Friday and Saturday, TR plays in Thermopolis and BH heads to Lusk.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams have more tournament play this week. The Generals will be at home hosting another tournament with Gillette, Eastern Wyoming and a team of All-stars made up of former college players.

The Lady Generals will play out of town this weekend at a tournament at North Idaho community college in Coeur D'Alene

BRONC FOOTBALL BANQUET - The Sheridan Bronc football players, coaches and parents will all meet to celebrate tomorrow night at 7:00 at Sheridan high school with their post season football banquet.

Following a meal in the Sheridan high school cafeteria the group will go into the auditorium for team and player awards and to watch a highlight video presentation of their state championship season.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys are 7-1 on the season and will play another home game tonight against Utah Valley. You can hear the on 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM broadcast time is at 6:30 with the tip at 7:00.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys close out the regular season at Colorado state Saturday afternoon. You can hear the regular season finale on KWYO and 95.9 FM pregame begins at 11:00 with kickoff scheduled for noon.
