Broncs / Lady Broncs head to Green River for the Flaming Gorge classic basketball tournament

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Lady Bronc basketball team open play at the Flaming Gorge classic tournament in Green River Thursday afternoon against Star Valley.

They are 3-1 coming off their first loss of the season at number one Natrona county but Head coach Jessica Pickett says that was a good game for the Lady Broncs to have on the early season schedule.

As the get ready to head to Green River Pickett says the players like playing at this event.

It's a short week before they take the court Thursday, Pickett talks about preparation for the games at the Classic.

They play Thursday at 1:00 the Broncs follow that game against Vernal, Utah on Friday both teams play Rock Springs the Lady Broncs start that double header at 2:40 and the final day is early Saturday with both teams playing Roosevelt, Utah the Broncs at 8:30 Lady Broncs follow at 10:00.

All six games will be broadcast live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM.

RAMS / EAGLES BASKETBALL - The Big Horn and Tongue River basketball teams have more tournament play this week all four teams will be at the Foothills Classic hosted by Wyoming Indian and Wind River high schools.

SC YOUTH BASKETBALL CAMPS - The Sheridan college basketball teams will play a big conference double header on January 4th against Casper college then on Sunday the 5th they host their one day youth basketball camps.

The camps are open to all kindergarten through 8th grade players the girls will go in the morning the boys in the afternoon, Generals Head coach Steve Smiley.

Lady Generals Head coach Frank McCarthy will have the Lady Generals at the camp.

BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers compete at the Worland duals Friday and Saturday.

BRONC SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers dual scheduled for tonight with Buffalo has been moved to January 24th.

The Broncs are scheduled to compete in Cody Friday and over to the Riverton invitational on Saturday.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowgirls host Montana tonight we will have it live for you on KWYO and 87.7 FM broadcast time is at 6:30.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Cowboys host SMU Friday night we will have it live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM the broadcast will start at 6:30.
