Troopers Open Tournament Play in Omaha / Rockies sweep Yankees / SC Hoop Camps Continue

AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers open a four day tournament in Omaha, Nebraska today their first opponent will be Dickinson, North Dakota they play Creighton Prep tomorrow then Watertown, South Dakota and finish up the weekend Sunday against Elkhorn, Nebraska

The next home date for the Troops will be Tuesday when they host a double header with the Casper Oilers we will broadcast the first game live at 4:00 on KWYO.

Wednesday they will host and early afternoon double header with Columbia Basin, Washington we will have the first game live as well on KWYO starting at noon.

Troopers Sweep a Double Header in Sturgis / Rockies Take Down the Yankees

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers opened a nine game road trip last night by sweeping a double header in Sturgis South Dakota winning 15-3 and 14-1 today they play two in Mitchell then onto a four day tournament in Omaha, Nebraska.

Troopers Head coach Ben Phillips says they will get a chance to play some elite teams in Omaha but it's also the experience of being part of a big time event like the College World Series.

Troopers Open a Nine Game Road Trip Today / Rockies Host Yankees Tonight

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will play their next several games on the road starting in South Dakota today they play two in Sturgis and tomorrow in Mitchell then they open a four day tournament in Omaha, Nebraska Thursday.

They will play nine games in nine games in six days, right now the Troops are five games over .500 Head coach Ben Phillips says they have played well lately and just need to find a little consistency at the plate.

2016 Wyoming / Montana All-Star Basketball Series goes to the Big Sky State / Troopers Head out for Road Games This Week / Rockies Beat SD Sunday and Host the Yankees Tomorrow

WYO / MT ALL-STAR HOOPS - The Wyoming / Montana high school all-star basketball series is history for another year the 2016 series went to Montana they took three out of the four games.

The girls series was a split as the Wyoming girls came from behind late and won in Sheridan Friday night 71-64 Emily Robertson from Natrona county led the way with 20 points Jessie Geer from Gillette had 18.

Saturday the Wyoming girls fell behind again and made another run late but came up short 62-56 Jessie Geer led the scoring in Billings with 14.

All-Star Basketball Opens with a Split / Games Three and Four Tonight in Billings

The Wyoming girls all-star basketball team fell behind by nine at halftime against the Montana all-stars at the Hoffman Dome Friday night but came alive and posted a game one victory in Sheridan for the first time since 2007 the final was 71-64.

Emily Robertson from Natrona county led the scoring for team Wyoming with a game high 20 points, Jessie Geer from Gillette hit for 18.

Game two will be played in Billings, Montana this evening tip off is scheduled for 5:30 you can hear it live on 14-10 KWYO.

2016 WYO / MT All-Star Basketball Series Tips Tonight / Rockies Drop The Bucs

ALL-STAR BASKETBALL - The Wyoming / Montana high school all-star basketball tips off tonight out at the Hoffman dome the girls game will tip at 5:30 the boys go and 7:30 we will broadcast both games live on 14-10 KWYO.

Team Wyoming boys coach Matt Hammer says it's all for the players that have earned the right to be on this year's team.

Hammer says he likes the match up and the format of this all-star series.


Twenty-one students at Gillette College have been named to the NJCAA Academic All-Region Teams in their sports. To qualify for the All-Region teams, students must complete 30 semester hours and maintain a grade point average of at least 3.25.

“At Sheridan College, we are proud to have some of the brightest, most dedicated student-athletes in all of Wyoming,” said Dr. Paul Young, President of the Northern Wyoming Community College District, which includes Sheridan College.

Troopers Split Two in Casper / Bronc Football Heads to Team Camp / All-Star Hoops Tip Off Tomorrow

TROOPERS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers split a double header in Casper last night they lost the first game 4-3 and came back and took game two 6-0.

The Troops will play their next several games on the road they are off until road double headers in Sturgis and Mitchell South Dakota next week the road trip will continue at a tournament in Omaha, Nebraska which runs during the College World Series the 16th through the 19th.

The next home games for the Troopers will be June 21st when they host two with the Casper Oilers.
