BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers open the "Ron Thon" invitational tournament in Riverton tomorrow Head coach Terry Burgess says the "Thon" is the biggest and toughest tournament in Wyoming.

And with the regular season winding down they have a lot of hard work ahead.

They close out the regular season a week from today with a dual at gillette.

The 4-A East regional will be held in Cheyenne with the state championships beginning Friday February 25th in Casper.

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Lady Broncs have a one game lead in the conference race and will look to put some more distance between themselves and the rest of the teams as they get ready to host Cheyenne East and Central.

Head coach Derek Bissitt says they got through the first Gillette game and now have to concentrate on two really good opponents this week.

Game times have changed the JV's will play tomorrow evening at 5:00 with the varsity game at 6:45.

Saturday the JV's go at 10:00 and the varsity at 11:45. Both games will be broadcast live on our sister station 95.9 fm.

BRONC BASKETBALL - The Broncs will play at East tomorrow night and at Central Saturday game time tomorrow night is at 7:30, Saturday afternoon at 1:00 both games will be broadcast live on AM 14-10 KWYO.

Head coach Mike Ibach says these are big games for the Broncs as they look to make a move toward the top of the conference race.

RAMS / LADY RAMS BASKETBALL - The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams will play one game each this week with road games at Moorcroft tomorrow.

EAGLES / LADY EAGLES BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles play at Sundance tomorrow night.

On Saturday the Eagles host Rocky Mountain with the Lady Eagles playing at Rocky in Byron both varsity games will start at 4:00.

GENERALS / LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals host north sub region games with Little Big Horn community college Saturday night at the Hoffman dome. Game times are set for 5:30 and 7:30.

COWBOYS BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys put on a better show last night as they took a seven point loss against BYU. After their 39 point loss at SDSU Saturday the Pokes gave the Cougars all they wanted last night but BYU came out on top 67-62.

They fall to 8-14 overall and have a home game with Colorado state Saturday night at 6:00 you can hear it live on AM 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM.

COWGIRLS BASKETBALL - The Cowgirls lost at BYU big last night 73-48 they play at Colorado state Saturday afternoon.

BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING - The Sheridan Bronc swimmers and divers host duals with Cody and Riverton tomorrow at 4:00 and will be at an invitational in Gillette Saturday.

TRACK AND FIELD - The Sheridan high school track teams head to Chadron, Nebraska for the winter classic indoor meet Saturday.
