TRACK AND FIELD - The Sheridan high school track teams host the "Gary Benson" Memorial Border War track meet today.
Teams from Billings will join the Casper Natrona, Kelly Walsh, Gillette, Cody and at Homer Scott stadium events begin at 2:00.
Sheridan Head track coach Art Bauers says it's great to have this meet to honor a great Sheridan educator and coach Gary Benson.
Saturday Sheridan high school hosts the Annual "Dan Hansen" track invitational events will get underway at 10:00.
BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams have more conference action this week. The Broncs play road matches in Laramie and at Cheyenne South while the Lady Broncs host the Plainsmen and Bison.
The Lady Broncs are unbeaten at 10-0 and Head coach Tom Racette says the girls have been impressive and continue to get better
The Broncs face Laramie this weekend and have built up a great rivalry with the Plainsmen, they beat the Broncs the first time around in conference play Head coach Kevin Riser.
WYOMING COWBOY JOE - The Wyoming Cowboy Joe club will host their spring membership fund drive reception on Monday April, 23rd at the Sheridan Holiday Inn.
University of Wyoming guest speakers will be Athletic Director Tom Burman, Director of golf Joe Jensen, Wrestling coach Mark Branch, Basketball coach Larry Shyatt and Football coach Dave Christensen.
The event will run from 5:30 to 7:30 again Monday night at the Sheridan Holiday Inn.
TROOPER BASEBALL - We are just three weeks away from the local baseball season getting underway. The Sheridan Troopers will open the 2012 season at home Sunday, May 9th with a double header against the Casper Oilers.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies opened a three games series with San Diego last night the Padres took it to the Rockies ending their own four game losing skid winning 7-1.
