Bronc / Lady Bronc Soccer meet Gillette Friday / Trooper baseball home opener Sunday

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer regular season ends tomorrow with both teams hosting a conference double header with Gillette at 4:00 and 6:00.

The Lady Broncs are still in the running for an automatic bid into the state tournament, they must win tomorrow and get some help from Laramie in their match with Cheyenne East, Head coach Mallery Marshall says it's amazing to play an entire season and have the last game be the most important.

Marshall says the Lady Broncs have really built up some momentum coming off two road shutouts last week in Cheyenne. And it seems the girls are peaking at the right time.

Marshall says the players have taken their play to the next level at becoming the aggressor.

TRACK AND FIELD - The high school track and field regular season ends tomorrow for the Broncs and Lady Broncs with Gillette hosting the final invitational of the regular season, events get underway at noon.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers play their home opener Sunday at Thorne-Rider stadium. they host a double header with the Billings Royals the first game will start at 1:00.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies whipped the Texas Rangers 9-2 last night. They play again at Texas tonight, the first pitch is at 6:05 live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

YOUTH SOCCER - The 10th annual "Snickers Cup" youth soccer tournament will be played at the Big Horn Equestrian center Saturday and Sunday. 125 youth teams from Wyoming , Montana and South Dakota will participate this weekend.

SC BOOSTER CLUB - Good news for the Sheridan college booster club and bad news for those who did not get registered for their upcoming booster club golf tournament, it's sold out, SC Athletic Director Steve Smiley. They will host the tournament next Friday.
