BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER / COWBOY JOE PREPARING FOR THE SHERIDAN SPRING MEMBERSHIP FUNCTION

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams played Buffalo Thursday night. The Lady Broncs beat Buffalo 2-1 and the Broncs and Bison tied 1-1.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs will resume their conference schedule next week with Laramie and Cheyenne South.

TRACK AND FIELD - The Sheridan high school track teams will be at an invitational in Billings today, next week they host two events on Tuesday and Saturday.

The "Gary Benson" invite will be Tuesday events get underway at 1:00 pm. Sheridan high school will host the much bigger the "Dan Hansen" invitational next Saturday with events starting at 10:00.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers open their baseball season with two road double headers Saturday May 5th in Cody and the 6th in Billings against the Halos.

The Troopers home opener is May 11th when they play two with the Billings Royals.

COWBOY JOE CLUB - The Wyoming Cowboy Joe club will host the spring membership kickoff event in Sheridan on April 30th at the Sheridan Holiday Inn beginning at 5:30.

Scheduled speakers are football coach Craig Bohl, basketball coaches Larry Shyatt and Joe Legerski along with wrestling coach Mark Branch and Athletic Director Tom Burman.

Cowboy Joe athletic development officer Adam Waddell was in Sheridan this week making preparations for the event , Waddell graduated from Cody high school and played basketball for four years at UW says they have an outstanding line-up of coaches for the Sheridan event.

Waddell says these functions provide UW fans a great opportunity to meet the coaches one on one.

And he says he knows from experience just how passionate Wyoming fans are about the University.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies won at San Diego 3-1 Thursday evening, they open a six game home stand today with the Philadelphia Phillies first pitch is at 6:40 live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.
