BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS VICTORIES / WEEKEND SPORTS SCHEDULE

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams opened the Flaming Gorge classic in Green River Thursday picking up two victories on day one.

The Lady Broncs beat 3-A number two team Star Valley 47-33 to get their record to 4-0. The Broncs evened their record at 2-2 with a 52-48 win over Union high school from Roosevelt, Utah.

Today both teams play Rock Springs but we are unable to broadcast the games for you instead will will have the Wyoming Cowgirls on live tonight.

We will have the Lady Bronc game tomorrow morning live as they play Union high school that game is scheduled to start at 8:15 tomorrow morning and you can hear it live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

Next Thursday the Broncs will play at Buffalo while the Lady Broncs host the Bison for their final games of 2012.

Both games will tip at 7:00 and will be broadcast live, the Lady Broncs on 14-10 KWYO and the Broncs on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals host games will Gillette tonight games are at 5:30 and 7:30.

They are conference games tonight both teams are 2-0 in conference play, Lady Generals coach Frank McCarthy says it's a big game tonight then they head into their two week holiday break.

And McCarthy says the Lady Generals will see a very good opponent tonight.

Generals Head coach Steve Smiley says they have been building up a good rivalry with Gillette but all that aside because it is a huge conference game for both teams.

And smiley says their holiday break sets up perfect to make a good run at hosting the region nine tournament when the second half of the season begins in January.

FOOT HILLS CLASSIC HOOPS - The Tongue River and Big Horn high school basketball teams will host the Foot Hills classic tournament today and Saturday.

Here is today's schedule, at Big Horn high school at 3:00 the Wyoming Indian girls play Wright then the Lady Rams play Wind River at 4:30 followed by the Rams and Wind River at 6:00.

At Tongue River high school at 4:00 the Wyoming Indian boys play Wright then the Lady Eagles take on Big Piney at 5:30 the Eagles play Big Piney at 7:00.

WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers will be at a tournament in Worland starting today then home Tuesday for a dual with Billings Senior.

COWGIRLS - The Wyoming Cowgirls they play at home tonight against Weber state. You can hear the game live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio tip of is at 7:00.

COWBOYS - The Wyoming Cowboys are off until Tuesday when they host a game with Denver University.

BRONCOS - The Denver Broncos play at Baltimore Sunday it's an early start with the pregame at 9:05 and kickoff at 11:00 on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM.
