HIGH SCHOOL GOLF - The Sheridan Bronc golfers held off Cheyenne Central to win the Douglas invitational yesterday the Broncs took the team title by 12 shots. Overall six broncs placed in the top ten Kamrin Allen led the way finishing 2nd, Cameron Lindell was 3rd, Toby Nicholas was 4th, Taylor Reed was 5th, Jace Rader 7th and Taylor Spiegelberg was 10th.
Sheridan high school will host the next tournament which tees off tomorrow at Kendrick golf course and will conclude Friday.
The Big Horn and Tongue River golfers hosted their own event yesterday at Kendrick golf course.
The Sheridan JV's took top honors in the boys team race, Big Horn finished fourth and Tongue River was fifth.
Friday the Rams and Eagles will play at a tournament hosted in Moorcroft.
LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team will open the 2010 season at a tournament in Riverton Friday. Head coach Wendy Ruby says she's been pleased with the Lady Broncs effort the last week and half since practice began. The Lady Broncs will take the court Friday with good varsity experience back from a year ago.
Following the tournament in Riverton the Lady Broncs will play Gillette at home next Tuesday evening at 7:00.
BH / TR VOLLEYBALL - In other Sheridan county volleyball the Big Horn girls will play in Riverton and the Tongue River Lady Eagles will play in Lovell.
SC VOLLEYBALL – The Lady Generals volleyball team opens in Colorado tomorrow and Friday at Lamar and Otero CC'S. Next week Friday and Saturday the Lady Generals will host a two day tournament in the Hoffman dome.
X-COUNTRY / LADY BRONC SWIMMING - The Sheridan high school cross country runners and Lady Bronc swimmers and divers will be in Casper for season openers Friday.
BRONC FOOTBALL - The 2010 Sheridan Bronc football team plays the season opener at Casper Kelly Walsh we begin season long live coverage of the Broncs. We will be on the air live with the “First Federal Savings Bank” pregame show at 6:30. The Broncs and Trojans kickoff at 7:00.

The Broncs home opener is next Friday September 3rd against Cheyenne East and it will be an early kickoff at 6:00. Both Bronc games against the Cheyenne schools and Laramie will start at 6:00.
BH / TR / NSI FOOTBALL - The NSI Wolves will host a football Jamboree Saturday the Big Horn Rams, Tongue River Eagles, Glenrock Herders and Rocky Mountain Grizzlies will play round robin scrimmages beginning at 9:00.
The Rams, Eagles and Wolves all open their season's on the road next week. Tongue river will play at Hulett, Big Horn is at Greybull and NSI will open at Rocky Mountain.
