THE BRONC GOLFERS STAY ON A ROLL AT THE DOUGLAS INVITE

SHERIDAN HIGH SCHOOL GOLF - The Bronc golfers took their first tournament of the season last week in Riverton and yesterday they stayed hot taking the lead after the first day of a tournament in Douglas.

Eight Broncs sit in the top ten led by Kamrin Allen in second place, Cole smith and Taylor Reed are tied for 3rd, Cameron Lindell, Toby Nicholas and Taylor Speigleberg are tied for 4th and Chris Cremer and Jace Rader are tied in 5th place.

Following play today the Broncs and Lady Broncs will host an invitational Thursday and Friday and Kendrick golf course.

BH / TR GOLF - The Big Horn and Tongue River golfers are hosting an invitational today and Kendrick golf course.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL JAMBOREE - The Tongue River and Big Horn football teams will end the second week of practice Saturday with zero week scrimmages at NSI. the three Sheridan County teams will host Glenrock and Rocky Mountain for the round robin event starting at 9:00.

TONGUE RIVER FOOTBALL - The Eagles are looking to turn things around this fall after a one win season in 2009. Head coach Chuck Walters says the numbers are solid and the eagles look to improve. Week one went well and the players get back into the football routine.

And he says they have several returning players and hope a new attitude will help turn the program back to their winning ways.

BIG HORN FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams were a playoff team last year and return the bulk of their back field and skill positions Head coach Bert Dow says it all starts up front from the Rams.

And having a great senior class has helped them get ahead the first eight days of practice. With zero week coming up and the opener at Greybull less than two weeks away they have a lot to get to over the next several days.

HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams will play in Jackson Thursday.

HIGH SCHOOL SWIMMING AND DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers open at the Casper relays Friday.

HIGH SCHOOL X-COUNTRY - The Sheridan high school cross country teams run at an invitational in Casper Friday.

HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL - Sheridan and Big Horn volleyball teams play at a tournament in Riverton Friday and the Tongue River Lady Eagles open at a tournament in Lovell.

SHERIDAN COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals open the volleyball season this weekend with a road trip to Colorado. They play at Lamar and Otero junior colleges.
