BRONC GOLF RESULTS / 2012 FOOTBALL OPENER IN TWO DAYS

SHERIDAN BRONC GOLF - The Gillette golf invitational wrapped up Tuesday at Bell Knob golf course.

The Sheridan Broncs finished 6th in the team race and Jack Mavrakis was the lone Bronc player in the top ten he tied for 9th place carding a two day total of 164.

The Sheridan varsity golfers are off until next week when they play at two tournaments in Powell and Cody.

The Tongue River, Big Horn and Sheridan JV's will play in a one day tournament tomorrow at Kendrick golf course.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football opens at Cheyenne Central Friday we will broadcast it live for on 14-10 KWYO and on Sports / Talk 87.7 FM broadcast time will be at 5:30 with the First Federal savings bank pregame show.

The Broncs started game week Monday as Head coach Don Julian says they have the players attention as they get ready to start the 2012 season.

Julian says even though several of this year's group saw some action last year there is still going to be some nerves heading into Friday night's game.

And finally today we take a look at Cheyenne Central, Julian says they have a general idea of what central might look like but must be prepared for just about anything.

The Tongue River Eagles and the Big Horn Rams open next week on the road the Eagles play at Lyman and the Rams at Greybull.

WYOMING FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football team opens at Texas September 1st that will be followed by the home opener against Toledo.

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team will open their season on the Friday at a tournament in Riverton.

SWIMMING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers open on the Friday and Saturday at the Casper relays and Gillette pentathlon.

X-COUNTRY - The Sheridan high school cross country runners will open at an invitational in Cody Friday and host the "Michelle Ludwig" invitational on the 31st.

TENNIS - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams will open in Jackson tomorrow.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies beat the New York Mets Tuesday night 6-2. The series continues in New York this evening, you can hear tonight's game live on Sports / Talk 87.7 FM broadcast time is at 4:30.

Tomorrow's game is a morning start against the Mets broadcast time will be at 10:30 am.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos play at home Sunday afternoon against the San Francisco 49ers.

We will broadcast the game for you on 14-10 KWYO and Sports / Talk 87.7 FM. Broadcast time will be at 12:05 with kickoff at 2:00.
