BRONC FOOTBALL OPENS WITH ROAD VICTORY / HOME OPENER FRIDAY NIGHT

FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team beat Laramie 27-7 in the season opener Friday night. The Broncs jumped out to a 21-0 halftime lead and were never threatened in the second half, Head coach
Don Julian.

Bronc QB Kameron Eckhard threw two touchdown passes and senior running back Daniel Sessions had two touchdown runs in the victory.

The Broncs did turn the ball over three times and had numerous penalties and Julian says all that is
fixable.

The Broncs host Kelly Walsh Friday night the Trojans lost their opener to Gillette and Julian says they expect to see a hungry opponent Friday night.

The Big Horn Rams and Tongue River Eagles open the regular season Friday we will broadcast both games live for you on KWYO and 87.7 FM the Rams host Greybull kickoff is at 1:00 and the Eagles host Rocky Mountain with kick off at 4:00 also on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams host matches with Natrona county this afternoon, matches are schedule to get underway at 3:00.

X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams ran at the Casper invitational neither team finished in the top ten, top Bronc individual runners were Taylor Bruso in 8th place and Taylor Wentland in 21st place for the Lady Broncs the top finisher was Jennifer Custis in 36th place.

This week the Broncs and Lady Broncs host the "Michelle Ludwig" Sheridan invitational Saturday on the grounds of the Sheridan VA racing begins at 11:00.

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team went 2-3 at a tournament in Cheyenne. They open conference play at Gillette tonight.

The Tongue River Lady Eagles went 1-5 at a tournament in Douglas and the Big Horn Lady Rams had a clean sheet at the Lingle invitational tournament going 5-0.

All three teams will play at the Gillette invitational Friday and Saturday

GOLF - In golf the Sheridan Broncs were 4th at the Worland invitational Jack Mavrakis placed 3rd overall as the Broncs top finisher, Victoria Owings was the Lady Bronc top finisher in 4th place. They play at the Gillette invitational starting Thursday.

SWIMMING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers will be at Cody Friday and at an invitational meet in Riverton Saturday.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys lost 37-34 at Nebraska Saturday QB Brett Smith went off throwing for almost 400 yards and four touchdowns he also had 92 yards rushing.

The Cowboys play their home opener Saturday against Idaho we will have all the action live for you on 14-10 KWYO the Cowboy pregame show will start at 12:00 kickoff is set for 1:00.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos s open the regular season at home Thursday night against Baltimore. The game can be heard live on 14-10 KWYO kickoff is scheduled for 6:30.
