SHERIDAN BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football coaches along with a handful of team leaders will head up into the Big Horn mountains today for a two day leadership camp. Head coach Don Julian says is a tradition that gets the season started on a positive note.

The players and coaches will host a meeting with the football parents Sunday afternoon at Sheridan high school and Julian says it's the players that set the tone for the up coming season.

They'll have meetings Monday morning at 7:00 then hit the field for their first practice at 8:00. Julian says they had a good summer and the players should be ready to get the season started.

The Broncs open the 2010 season at Casper Kelly Walsh August 27th .

SRD - Next week registration continues today for the Sheridan Recreation District Little Guy football program they will take sign-ups at the Rec office through 5:00 tonight..

The Rec District will host the annual JD Mullinax tennis tournament this weekend play begins tomorrow morning at the Thorne-rider park tennis courts.

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Bronc volleyball team will host a one day camp for girls in the 4th -6th grades at the “Y”next Wednesday .They are taking registration at the “Y” the cost is 40 dollars per camper.

AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - The Wyoming state American legion baseball champion Post 6 from Cheyenne won it's first game at the American legion regional tournament in Spokane, Washington yesterday beating the host team 5-4.

Post 6 plays the Washington state champions in the winners bracket tonight.
