Bronc basketball looking to make big strides in 2013-14

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The first weekend of basketball games for the Broncs and Lady Broncs will be December 6th and 7th they host a double header with Green River.

Today we hear from Broncs Head coach Gale Smith, he says the Broncs are coming off a good off season and are looking forward to getting the season started in a couple of weeks.

They missed the state tournament in March and Smith says the team is using last year's shortfall as motivation coming into this season.

And he says this year's seniors learned a lot about leadership and have taken to that role well.

They begin their fourth day of training today, Smith says workouts have been very good.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams play on the road this week at separate tournaments in Idaho.

The Lady Generals play two games at North Idaho community college and the Generals play at a tournament at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls beginning tomorrow.

Both teams will play at home next Wednesday when they host Colorado Northwestern, games will be at 5:30 and 7:30 and we will be broadcasting both games live on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys host South Dakota tomorrow night tip off at 8:00 on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowgirls are 3-0 and play at home Saturday night against Pepperdine you can hear it live on KWYO and 87.7 FM tip off is at 6:00.

COWBOY FOOTBALL -The Wyoming football Cowboys play in Laramie Saturday against Hawaii it's an early start with pregame 11:00 and kickoff at noon on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos play at New England Sunday night live on KWYO and 87.7 FM pregame starts at 4:35.
