WYO Rodeo week highlights / SHS Booster club golf tourney Sunday / Troopers off til Monday

WYO RODEO WEEK - 2014 Sheridan WYO rodeo week is underway the boot kickoff is tonight in Kendrick park the event starts at 4:00 with the first of the four performances of the rodeo tomorrow night at 7:00.

We've heard from WYO rodeo committee President Zane Garstad this week and today he talks first about how WYO rodeo week has turned into such a great Sheridan county tradition.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers split a double header in Cody Sunday, they are off until they play at home a week from today against Laramie that is scheduled as a single nine inning game at noon.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers took both games of their double header in Douglas last night, they took the first game 12-5 and won the second game 13-3.

They will play at Cody Sunday then a week off until they play at home on Monday the 14th against Laramie that is schedule as a single nine inning game at noon. That will be our next live broadcast of Trooper baseball we will have it live for you on 14-10 KWYO.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are coming off a 12 inning loss Monday at home and now head out on the road for a double header in Douglas tonight.

They expect a tough double header against the Cats today they beat Douglas twice a few weeks ago at Thorne-Rider stadium and will try to turn the trick again tonight on the road Head coach Ben Phillips.

The Troops will play at Cody Sunday then a week off until they play at home on Monday the 14th against Laramie that is schedule as a single nine inning game at noon.

Sheridan College names Eric Frey as head assistant volleyball coach

Eric Frey is no stranger to Sheridan, Wyoming or Sheridan College. Graduating from Sheridan High School in 1988, Eric started playing beach volleyball in the summer of 1988. Eric has spent the last ten seasons as the assistant volleyball coach at Sheridan High School.

While at Sheridan High School, Frey helped lead the Broncs to a state championship in 2011. “I have coached for 10 seasons at Sheridan High School from 2004 to 2014 and I am looking forward to the opportunity to help Sheridan Colleges Athletic Department and the Volleyball program.
