DAY ONE STATE BASKETBALL RESULTS

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Lady Broncs opened the day with a 62-41 win over Star Valley.

They jumped out to a 23-6 lead after the first quarter and never looked back they put it away early in the 2nd quarter and led by 22 at halftime.

They spread the scoring around as the top eight all scored led by Kayla Woodward with 16 points, Brianna Smith had 12 with four threes and Steph Sessions had 11.

Today the Lady Broncs will play their fourth game against Cheyenne East in one 4-A semi final. East got by Evanston to advance yesterday.

Bison Girls, Boys Roll Over Opponents

The Buffalo Lady Bison (#2E) shot out to an early 20-0 lead over the Powell Lady Panthers (#3W) and cruised to a convincing 52-26 win in their opening round game at the Casper Events Center Thursday. Buffalo's Dallas Shaw led all scoring with 31 points in the win.

BRONCS FALL AT THE STATE TOURNAMENT

Broncs fall against Rock Springs 45-42.They fall into the consolation bracket and will play an elimination game with Star Valley at 1:30 Friday afternoon.

LADY BRONCS WIN STATE TOURNAMENT OPENER

The Sheridan Lady Broncs beat the Star Valley Braves 61-42 to advance to tomorrow's semi final against Cheyenne East.

East survived and advanced by beating Evanston in overtime 46-40.

The game will be played at the Casper Events Center Friday at 4:30 we will have it live on 14-10 KWYO.

Kaycee Athletes Receive Postseason Accolades

A number of Kaycee Buckaroos and Lady Bucs have been recognized for their outstanding play this year by receiving All-Conference and All-State honors this week.

DYLAN MORIN SIGNS LETTER OF INTENT TO RUN IN COLLEGE

Sheridan High school distance runner Dylan Morin has signed a national letter of intent compete in cross country and track for the University of Washington.

Morin started his senior track season winning the 800, 1600 and 3200 meter races at the Wyoming state indoor championships last week.

He is currently training with the rest of the Broncs and Lady broncs as they get ready to open up their outdoor season next weekend in Casper
