UW Golf - Former Bronc Kamrin Allen 22nd at the MWC Championships

Cowboy Freshmen Ryan Wallen recorded his best-career finish at his first MWC Championship.

Freshman Wyoming Cowboy golfer Ryan Wallen led the way for UW in the final round of the 2014 Mountain West Championship after shooting a 70 (-1) on the par-71, 7,144 yard Catalina Course at the Omni Tucson National Golf Resort on Sunday. The freshman completed his conference championship debut tied for 18th in the 55-man field.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams took on Laramie Friday night the Lady Broncs played the Plainsmen to a 0-0 overtime draw while the Broncs dropped an overtime decision at Laramie 2-1.

Saturday they both picked up victories over Cheyenne South this week they have Cheyenne Central and East on the schedule the Broncs will play at home.

Bison, Lady Bison Soccer Post Big Wins

The Buffalo High School Bison and Lady Bison soccer teams took on the Powell teams on Friday and both Buffalo teams came away with the victories.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams took on Laramie Friday night.

The Lady Broncs played the Plainsmen to a 0-0 overtime draw while the Broncs dropped an overtime decision at Laramie 2-1.

Today both teams play Cheyenne South the girls will play at Big Horn JV's at 10:00 varsity at noon.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams play Laramie today the Lady Broncs are at home JV's play at 4:00, varsity at 6:00, tomorrow they play Cheyenne South the girls matches will be played at Big Horn high school at 10:00 and noon.

The Broncs are still fighting for position near the top of the conference and could make a big move with a win today at number one Laramie.

They lost at home against the Plainsmen the first time around and Head coach Kevin Riser says the Broncs will be better against Laramie today.

Weekend local sports preview includes soccer and track and field

SHS TRACK AND FIELD - Sheridan high school is preparing to host another track meet the annual Dan Hansen invitational will take place Saturday.

Sheridan high school head track coach Art Bauers says after the results were posted from the Gary Benson meet Tuesday it showed how impressive the meet was this year.

Bauers says the Dan Hansen meet in 2013 had over 20 teams, Saturday they expect about half that number but it will still be a very big invitational.
