Bison Swimmers First at Rawlins Quad

Buffalo High School's boys' swim team was in Rawlins and Cheyenne last weekend, winning the Rawlins meet and finishing in the top tier of mostly 4A schools in Cheyenne.
At Rawlins on Friday, the Bison got first place finishes from the 400 free relay team of Josh Cohoon, Josh Dillinger, Neil Medders and Nate Holt; the 200 medley relay team of Holt, Wyatt Zegstroo, Tim Cohoon and Matt Scarlett; and the 200 free relay team of Medders, Scarlett, and Josh and Tim Cohoon.


SC HOOPS - The Generals and Lady Generals host more conference action tonight against Dawson Community college. Game times are at 5:30 and 7:30 both games will be broadcast live on our sister station 95.9 FM.

The Lady Generals have won seven in a row and remain unbeaten in conference play.

The Generals have ended a two game losing streak and won their last two including Saturday's road win at 9th ranked Western Wyoming.


The Sheridan Rampage won the 6th grade boys division of the Trailhead Classic Basketball Tournament in Billings last weekend.

They defeated the Laurel Predators in the championship game 56-19.

SHS Head track coach Art Bauers

INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD - The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams opened the 2012 indoor season last Friday in Spearfish, South Dakota.

Head coach Art Bauers says it was a good opener for both teams.

Now they get back into action this week with a little direction and get ready for a large meet in Gillette Saturday.

Lady Bronc 8th grade hoop champs

The Sheridan Lady Broncs 8th grade girls traveling basketball team won the Billings Shootout over the weekend in Billings, Montana.

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Sheridan Bronc and lady bronc basketball teams swept victories from billings Senior friday night.

The Lady Broncs ran their record at 10-1 with a 50-42 win in Billings they came back home to host number one Natrona county Saturday, NC won a tight game 52-46.

The Lady Broncs are 10-2 as they open up conference play on the road at Cheyenne South Friday and Laramie Saturday both games will be broadcast live this week on 95.9 FM.

Jo Co HS Athletes Suffer Setbacks This Weekend

It was a weekend of disappointments for Johnson County's high school teams this past weekend.
In basketball, the Buffalo Bison suffered two losses, 56-52 to Rawlins on Friday, and to Lander 45-36 on Saturday.
The boys now stand at 5-5 on the year.
The Lady Bison also dropped both of their games this weekend. Losing at Rawlins Friday 58-40 and losing at home to Lander 54-33.
The girls are now 4-6 on the season.
The Kaycee Buckaroos, after losing to Midwest Thursday, dropped their games this weekend 81-72 to Tensleep and 61-52 to Big Horn.
They are now 3-8 for the season.
