COWBOYS STREAK ENDS/ COWGIRLS PLAY TODAY

WYOMING COWBOYS - The Wyoming Cowboys are 7-7 after seeing their winning streak end at three games last night with a home loss against Wisconsin-Green Bay. They are now off until next Tuesday when they host a game with Kennesaw state from Georgia.

They close out 2010 with a road game at Houston-Baptist on New year's eve then open MWC play at Colorado state on January 4th.

SHERIDAN BRONC SWIMMERS AND DIVERS EARLY SEASON SUCCESS

BRONC SWIMMING AND DIVING - The Broncs are finished up with their December schedule and will continue working out through the break to make sure they stay in top shape.

Taylor Speigelberg and Nick Groshart have already qualified in multiple events for the state championships and had another good outing last Saturday at the Riverton invitational Head coach Larry White.

White says getting qualified early has it's pros and cons but they are pleased that both guys accomplished qualifying so early.

2010 LOCAL SPORTS RE-CAP HEADING INTO THE HOLIDAY BREAK

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Broncs went 5-2 and the Lady Broncs 7-0 both teams will be back in action January 6th when they travel to play in a three day tournament in Riverton. they'll play Evanston, Star Valley and Riverton.

The Lady Broncs enter the break as the state's number one girls basketball team.

They were the preseason number one pick in 4-A they've held that for the last four weeks. Only one other 4-A team in unbeaten heading into the break that's Cheyenne Central.

Bison wrestlers looking for more wins

The Buffalo High School wrestling team is fighting hard, according to coach Jay Camino, but still struggling and looking to improve enough to post more wins.
The Bison were at Cheyenne South over the weekend to compete in the conference duals, and had mixed results.

Bison Boys and Girls Win Big

The Bison boys' basketball team won both their games this weekend in big fashion.

Sheridan 8th Grade Champs

Sheridan 8th Grade SJHS District Champs with an undefeated season.

The District title game held at Clear Creek Middle School in Buffalo on Saturday Sheridan over Sage Vally Eagles 48-28.

4th Grade Winter Shoot-out Champs

4th Grade "Sheridan Shooters"

The Sheridan Shooters 4th Grade Basketball Team that won the 4th grade division championship of the "Winter Shoot-out with a win over Buffalo Blazin' Bullets 33-25.

The Shooters went 5-0 on the weekend with wins over Gillette, Rozet, Worland, Big Horn and Buffalo.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Broncs went 2-1 at the Flaming Gorge classic in Green River they beat Jackson, lost against Rock Springs and came back with a 71-33 win over Salmon, Idaho Saturday to run their overall record to
5-2.

Head coach Mike Ibach says it was a long trip but a pretty good trip as well.

The Lady Broncs remain unbeaten at 7-0 as they blew out all three opponents at the classic. The Lady Broncs were relentless on all three teams they beat Jackson 89-28, Rock Springs 74-38 and Steamboat, Colorado fell Saturday 74-36.
