The Buffalo Bison wrestlers hosted Newcastle last Thursday and took that dual 37-36 over the Dogies.
On Saturday the team traveled to Cheyenne South and took on South and Torrington.
The Bison edged South 37-36 and lost to the Trailblazers 44-27.
Coach Jay Camino said he was pleased overall with the teams' performances and how they are working to score points and be aggressive.
Individually, Darby Scantling went 0-2 for the weekend; At 112, Hyrum Ruby went 0-1; Jonathan Land went 1-0 at 112 and 2-0 at 119; at 125 Nathan Gilbert went 1-3; at 130 Taylor Bell went 3-0; at 135 Riley West went 0-3; at 152, Muhammad Khan went 1-2; at 171 Jace Jensen went 3-0; at 189 Cody Sanburn went 3-0; and at 215 Matt Myrick finished 2-1.
This week will the Bison will host the number one ranked Worland Warriors on Thursday and will travel to Thermopolis on Saturday to take on the Bobcats.
Camino said, “We will have some great matchups and some great wrestling.”
