The Bison sports teams competed this past weekend against some quality opponents and had mixed results.
The number-one ranked boys' basketball team hosted number three Wheatland on Friday, dropping the Bulldogs 59-35.
Saturday, the number-two Torrington Trailblazers traveled to Buffalo and took down the number-one Bison 55-52.
The Trailblazers will likely be the new number-one team when rankings are released this week.
The Bison are now 15-2 overall, 9-1 in conference.
The Lady Bison were on the road this weekend for games at Wheatland and Torrington.
Friday the girls took on the Wheatland Lady Bulldogs and fell to them 51-46.
Dallas Shaw had 18 points and Casi Litzel had 13 to lead Buffalo.
Saturday the girls played at Torrington and took down the Lady Trailblazers 71-66.
Shaw again led Buffalo with 34 points and Litzel and Leah Groteluschen each added eight.
The Lady Bison are now 13-4 overall, 7-3 in conference play.
Both teams will take on Rawlins and Thermopolis this weekend.
And the Kaycee teams won their games this weekend.
The No. 3 boys beat Hulett 81-30 and Upton 66-35.
The No. 2 girls beat Hulett 51-32 and Upton 49-31.
The Bison wrestlers and swimmers were in action this weekend as well, and we'll have results as they become available.
