Local Weekend Sports Wrap up

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Broncs split games losing at Billings Skyview 75-63 Friday they came back to beat Natrona county 55-44 Saturday.

NC jumped all over the Broncs and had a 12-0 lead to start the game but the Broncs stayed the course and got within four at halftime and then took control of the game in the second half, Head coach Jeff Martini. Senior Coy Steel lead the Broncs with 19 points.

They are now done with non-conference play and Martini says the first 11 games were all for preparing for the next ten.

Bronc / Lady Bronc Basketball Faces Billings Skyview Tonight / Big Horn and Tongue River Basketball Have Home Games / SHS Wrestling, Swimming and Indoor Track all Compete on the Road

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Broncs will play at Billings Skyview tonight and will host Natrona county tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 we will have that game live for you on 87.7 FM.

The broncs are 3-6 heading into the weekend Head coach Jeff Martini says they continue to build momentum towards the start of conference play which starts next week.

They've play nine straight away from home to start the season and have faced some really good opponents.

SC RODEO - The Sheridan college rodeo team will host their annual banquet in a few weeks tickets for the event are currently on sale.

It's been a very good season so far for the Generals and Lady Generals in December former Generals Bronc rider Zeke Thurston won the NFR title just two years after leaving Sheridan college, Rodeo coach Marc Gilkerson says Thurston's world championship was a real big deal for the Sheridan college rodeo program.

UW Hoops Take on Utah State Tonight / SC Hoops at Gillette / Bronc / Lady Bronc Hoops Face Billings Skyview Friday

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams will play their home openers this week.

The Lady Broncs host Billings Skyview Friday night at 7:30 we will have the game live on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

The Lady Broncs are 4-5 overall as they enter the weekend Head coach Jessica Pickett says the best thing about this week is getting a chance to finally play at home.

Here is a great opportunity to enjoy learning the game of tennis during the Winter months. Racquets and balls are provided.
