Bison Swimmers Second At State

As we reported on Monday, the Bison boys' swim team finished second at the State Meet last weekend, behind powerhouse Lander, who won their sixteenth consecutive title.
Coach Ron Chapin was impressed with his team's finish at State, saying “This was such a great finish to the season. Every swimmer finished with their best time of the year. These guys poured every ounce of energy they had into this meet.”
Buffalo had state championships from the 200 Medley Relay Team of Nate Holt, Neil Medders, Timothy Cohoon and Josh Cohoon; Holt in the 200 IM and the 100 back; and Medders in the 500 free.
Named to the All-Sate team were Josh Cohoon, Neil Medders, Nate Holt, Tim Cohoon and Matt Scarlett.
The Athlete of the State Meet was Nate Holt.

Other strong finishes from Bison swimmers at the State Meet:
Neil Medders, second in the 200 free.
400 free relay Team of Medders, Holt, Scarlett and Josh Cohoon, second place.
Consolation Championship, seventh place, to the 200 Free Relay Team of Dillinger, Scarlett, Shawn Morgan and Tim Cohoon.
Josh Cohoon, third place in the 100 free, fourth place in the 50 free.
Tim Cohoon, fifth in the 100 fly, consolation champion, seventh place in the 200 IM.
Matt Scarlett, consolation champion, seventh place in the 200 and 500 free.
Randy Olsen, eighth place in the 100 backstroke.
Wyatt Zegstroo, ninth place in the 100 breast stroke.
